Consultation Fee + Surgical Fee = Pain Free

We offer consultation and surgical appointments to self-pay patients for both hernia repair and carpal tunnel syndrome. An initial Consultation Fee covers an in-person or virtual consultation with the surgeon to discuss your diagnosis and confirm suitability. These will take place at Carlisle Healthcare South Hub and typically last 20-30 minutes.

If both parties wish to proceed, a surgery date can be arranged for as soon as 4 weeks time. A separate Surgical Fee will then be applicable, and will cover:

Pre and post operative medication
You main surgical treatment
Post-operative phone consultation

Our surgeons have over 50 years of surgical experience specialising in walk-in walk-out local anaesthetic surgery. They have performed over 3000 local anaesthetic hernia repairs to date.

Minor operations under local anaesthetic offer a much safer, quicker and more comfortable experience. Our speciality is with walk-in walk-out surgery. Patients usually leave 10-15 minutes after having their hernia repaired, able to head home. This helps reduce hernia surgery costs and reduce the pressure on beds in local hospitals.

Our costs are significantly less than using a local private hospital. We believe in offering an exemplary service at a fair price. For those who are medically insured, we would recommend they contact their insurance provider to identify their options.
